Is there a certain program/defense i can use to prevent users from submitting viruses to my site
my site is gaining traffic and I am about to use a lot of user-submitted posts. I am already getting much spam in the comments and I want to protect the site from viruses that may be submitted as comments.I will not be able to review every comment/post as my audience grows so I will use automatic approval. Thanks in advance!

Hello viking84, Manual review is the only true way to be able to filter out spam comments and posts submitted to your site. You may design, or have someone design, your own program for automatic approval, but I am not aware of any software at the moment that you can simply download and use. It also will likely need to be constructed as a plugin or extension particular to the program you are using for your site (WordPress, Joomla, etc) Best Regards, Scott M |
