Hello Doug, Thank you for contacting us about lost pages after updating WordPress, and a Theme. I searched for a similar issue when updating to WordPress 4.3.1, but didn't see many instances pages being deleted. If you made a backup before updating, it may be easiest to restore the backup. Then, update WordPress and the Theme individually. This will help narrow the cause.
