I run my blog on Wordpress, my Wordpress agent has informed me that ModSecurity is blocking my Jetpack, so leaving it worthless. Suggested I send you this link- http://makeovermyleftover.com/xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack to see the problem and be able to disable it. Thanks

Hello!

Thanks for posting your question regarding <strong>JetPack and WordPress connections being blocked by ModSecurity</strong>. I'm sorry to see this is causing an issue with the functionality of your site! This can easily be corrected by <a href="http://www.webhostinghub.com/help/learn/website/website-help/disable-mod-security-via-modsec-manager" target="_blank" title="Click here to learn more about how to disable ModSecurity for your domain in cPanel">disabling ModSecurity for your domain</a>. However, the safest way to use JetPack would be to keep ModSecurity enabled for your domain and <a href="http://www.webhostinghub.com/help/learn/website/website-help/whitelisting-an-ip-in-mod-security" target="_blank" title="Click here to learn how to whitelist IPs in ModSecurity">add IPs to the ModSecurity Whitelist</a>. Whitelisting allows specified IPs to circumvent ModSecurity and connect regardless of the rules ModSecurity is enforcing. The IP addresses I was able to find from their Hosting FAQ's are available <a href="https://jetpack.com/support/hosting-faq/" target="_blank" title="Click here to navigate to JetPack support website regarding the IPs to whitelist in ModSecurity">here</a>. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Carlos E
