the old wp-config had this code in it:

// set the URL manually
define('WP_HOME','http://whub32.webhostinghub.com/~modcha5');
define('WP_SITEURL','http://whub32.webhostinghub.com/~modcha5/wordpress');

Lisa

We had someone build a wordpress site for us and then move it over to webhosthub from their server. They put all of the files in a folder called wordpress in the public_html directory at a temporary url. Now that the nameservers are switched over & I'm ready to have everything moved up in the directory there seems to be an issue. I had someone in support here try to do it for me and he said when he did, none of the pages were displaying properly in a browser.Most of the site is in draft as we're not ready to make sales yet so it's just the basic structure that should be viewable, the 'home' page is fully visible and propagated page.

The issue: If you look at:

http://modchartreuse.com/ our permanent url home page

and

http://whub32.webhostinghub.com/~modcha5/ the 'home' page of the temporary url, you'll see the problem.

If you go to any other part of the site you'll see that it's all sitting within the temp url: http://whub32.webhostinghub.com/~modcha5/products/?range=150-239

The support from webhosthub said he is a 'wordpress pro' and has no idea what is going wrong when trying to move the files up... the people that charged my employer $$$$$$ to put the bones of this together can't see a problem :|

If anyone has any wisdom on this I would appreciate hearing it!

Many thanks!

Lisa

Hello LisaChartreuse,

We are glad to see you were able to resolve the issue. Any custom coding can be difficult to locate, although the two lines you discovered are fairly common and should have been located by our team. We will ensure that is covered for future incidents.

Please let us know if you have any further issues with your Wordpress site.

Best Regards,
Scott M
