I made a category called NHL news. I wanted to start a series called NHL Rebuild, but wanted it to be under both with NHL Rebuild being a sub category. Now the blog post shows up under NHL Rebuild but when you click on NHL News it says Oops, we cant find your post. Even though i selected both. NHL News is the parent to NHL rebuild. What do I do?

Hello,

Thank you for your WordPress question. Posts should display under each category they are assigned to, even if one category is the parent of another. You may need to reset your Permalinks (by resetting them to default, saving, and then setting them back) however, as they sometimes become confused. This has less to do with the categories themselves but more to do with how WordPress rewrites the URLs involved. I tested with the default theme and had no issues. You may also want to test with a default theme if the permalinks trial does not work. Please let us know if you still are unable to get the post to display as it should.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
