Place to store files for download

Hi,

I have a quick question. I'm using WordPress and would like to add a link on my page for people to download a file. Where should I store these files? Directly under public_html?

Hello Chika-chan,

Thank you for your question. If you just want to freely share the file, then you can put it anywhere within the public_html folder. Here is a helpful guide on managing files on your server.
