Hello, Sorry for the problems with updating your plugins. I did a bit of reading and researching on this error. The closes match I'm finding is from a WordPress Support Forum post of a year ago. They were getting the exact same error when trying to update. They found that an .htaccess file was forcing the PHP version to be handled at a version that led to the error. You are able to change your PHP version through cPanel. Make sure to check your .htaccess files to insure that they're not causing the issue are facing.
