reinstall WordPress but errored

I removed WordPress over a yr ago. Now want to install again but installation failed with below error:
http://mydomain/
The following errors were found :
Installation cannot proceed because the following files already exist in the target folder :

license.txt
readme.html
wp-activate.php
wp-admin
wp-blog-header.php
wp-comments-post.php
wp-config-sample.php
wp-content
wp-cron.php
wp-includes
wp-links-opml.php
wp-load.php
wp-login.php
wp-mail.php
wp-settings.php
wp-signup.php
wp-trackback.php
xmlrpc.php
wp-config.php
Please delete these files or choose another folder.OR
Select the checkbox to overwrite all files and continue

How should I proceed with the installation?

Hello Anita, and thanks for your question.

It looks like you still have the older files for your first WordPress installation in your /public_html directory. You would want to remove these first before starting another fresh install of WordPress.

You can simply connect to your website with FTP and then begin to remove the listed WordPress files so that fresh copies can be installed from the Softaculous installer. Or as mentioned in the error you can select the checkbox to override all files and continue with your new install.
