Hello!
I have a fairly new wordpress.com blog and wanted to be able to have wordpress.org capabilities. So, I purchased a domain and signed on board with webhostinghub. Wordpress install through Softaculous is complete. My problem is - Being that my blog is under 60 days old, I cannot transfer my domain. I changed name servers to point to webhostinghub, but not sure what to do next? I'm ready to start playing with plugins... Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for your question about transferring from WordPress to WebHosting Hub. After pointing your nameservers to WebHosting Hub, your site will resolve to us within 24 hours.

This is because any DNS change, such as a namesrver update must propagate, or push out to the world.

In the meantime, you can begin working by modifying your hosts file to point to your Shared IP. Just be sure to remove the hosts file mod after 24 hours.

After 60 days from when you registered your domain, you can initiate a domain transfer in AMP.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.

Thank you,
John-Paul
