Trying to install Wordpress "W3 Total Cache" ...

...generates "permalinks disabled" error. Would like to have both up. Was following the tutorial when I got the error, did it several times to verify I followed the instructions.

Hello billrata,

Thank you for your question. I performed a Google search for similar errors, but was unable to find a fix.

We are happy to help, but we will need more information to troubleshoot.

This may be caused by an incompatibility with the Theme or Plugins you are using, and W3 Total cache.

I recommend putting Wordpress in Debugging mode, then trying to install W3 Total cache again, as it may provide a more specific error.
