Sorry,

I seemed to have solved the problem on my own...

[Original Question]

Hi,

I am trying to uninstall Wordpress but cannot find Fantastico on cPanel anymore.

So I used the option in Softaculous. It does not give me a clean uninstall.

Looking through the file manager, i am rather clueless what to remove.

Is it possible to "reset" the entire thing for me? (or let's term it this way: perform a factory reset for me, please?)

Also, i am able to phpinfo my site through the phpinfo.php... is this file important? is it ok if i remove it?

Thnx!
Bryan

Hello BryanChong,

Thank you for letting us know. Fantastico was replaced by Softaculous earlier this year, but you can still add or remove software that was installed previously even if it was installed using Fantastico.

Here is a link to a helpful article on how to uninstall programs using Softaculous.

Softaculous is easy to use and offers over 280 Software installation options.

The phpinfo.php page is just an easy way to view information about your php settings, you can delete it if you don't need it.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul
