Hi, I'm triyng to show an "under Costruction" message until my wordpress site is completed. Kevin gave me the tip that use an index.html file, and it works fine, but when I want to test my site with mydomain.com/index.php, the "under constrution" message appears, Why?

Hi jjnike,

I have a WordPress blog, and when I type in domain.com/index.php, it redirects to domain.com/ (which in my case is index.php)

In your case, domain.com/index.php is redirecting to domain.com, and index.html is loading and not index.php

A solution to this (domain.com/index.php redirecting to domain.com) can be found here:
[resolved] How can I turn off WordPress' index.php redirect to domain root?

I hope this helps! Let us know if you need any additional help with this one.

Thanks!

- Brad
