I have a website developed in Wordpress. I want to test it in a test folder under my domain name (mydomain.com/test). I installed WP under test folder, deployed my files under test, created my tables, changed my wp-config.php to WP database, changed .htaccess file to reflect test folder. When I go to mydomain.com/test I get the landing page but any link from the page does not and I get "Error 404 - Not found". What other configuration file I should change to make it work under test folder?

Hello,

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with getting into your WordPress links. I tested your WordPress test site and saw the problem that you were having was related to the permalinks. You will need to login to your administrator and then reset the permalinks. I could tell that the links were using something other than the default. Change them to the default setting and save them. If you're using a custom setting, then make sure to copy lt, then replace the custom setting with your custom setting and save it again. This will allow WordPress to properly re-write the links to the database.

Once this is done, the links will be properly re-written. Clear your browser cache and you see it once again.

I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.
