I transfered my domain name to your hosting service from Yahoo yesterday. I installed wordpress using softalicious. When I get to the tutorial step telling me to go to jbcampo.com/wp-admin, I get an error:
Network Error (dns_server_failure)

Your request could not be processed because an error occurred contacting the DNS server.
The DNS server may be temporarily unavailable, or there could be a network problem.

For assistance, contact your network support team.

I went to WHOIS and see my domain still seems to be with Yahoo, even though the transfer said it went thru.
What is the issue here please? thanks

Hello Jbcampo,

Sorry for the problem with the WordPress DNS error. This is definitely related to the Yahoo Domain transfer process. Both Web Hosting Hub and Yahoo use the same Domain Registrar - Melbourne IT. You will need to obtain the registry key (not the authorization code) from Yahoo. They should be able to give you information on this (usually a link). You are doing a transfer to a Melbourne IT reseller and Yahoo should be able to give you the proper key. Once you have the key, call into Web Hosting Hub's live technical support (available 24/7 via phone/email/chat) and they can immediately transfer your domain.

Apologies again for the confusion. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.

Humh, during the process, the webhostinghub prevented me from going further unless I had the registry key. I obtained the registry key from yahoo, and input it during the automated process with webhostinghub. I will now call tech support for assistance. thanks for your reply. joseph.
