To ensure you only pay for what you need in your Linux web hosting plan, Web Hosting Hub provides three web hosting plans:

  • Spark
  • Nitro
  • Dynamo

Our highest hosting plan, Dynamo, is only available as an upgrade for existing customers. Upgrading to the Nitro or Dynamo plan provides more power and server resources for your Linux server hosting.

Below we cover how to upgrade or downgrade a hosting plan in your Account Management Panel (AMP).

Before making major changes to your account, we recommend you create a cPanel backup first.

Selecting a Different Hosting Plan with Web Hosting Hub

  1. Log into AMP.
  2. Under the hosting plan you want to modify, select the Change Hosting Plan button.
  3. Select your new hosting plan

On the Change Plan page, you will see your current plan listed at the top. Click on the Change to drop-down menu to select your new plan: Spark, Nitro, or Dynamo.

  4. Review your billing info and make changes as needed. For further assistance, see our article on Updating your Billing and Contact info.
  5. Choose your Payment Method.
  6. Verify or choose the credit card you wish to use. Click on the drop-down menu to add a new card if necessary.
  7. Review the cost, then select Submit.

After the order is submitted, you will receive an email confirming the plan change. There is typically a brief period before the account is upgraded.

Congratulations on changing your Web Hosting Hub hosting plan! If you have any questions about your hosting plan, please contact our Live Support directly.

Hello STEPHEN,

Thank you for your question. Your yearly payment will be based on the plan you upgrade to, and there are several option.

You will see the new pricing options when you attempt to change plans in AMP.

Also, feel free to contact Live Support, so they can go over the upgrade options for your plan.

Hi we wanted to upgrade our hosting (faithopendoor.org) plan to dynamite. How do we go about transferring it with the same due date on Feb 27?

Hello Victor,

You will want to contact our Live Customer Service team to see how they can upgrade your account. They may have a special running that will save you more money than the method in the AMP. They can also advise on the expiration date of the account.

Hi I have just downgraded my plan to Spark, but under Billing it still shows that I have a payment due for Nitro plan. Do I unconfirm it, or will the Nitro plan be removed automatically? Thanks!

Hello Chuck,

The item displaying the plan name alongside the domain name is purely for internal purposes. It does not have any bearing on how your account is set up. You can ask that it display that way when they change your plan if you wish, however.
