Hello Fundertakers,
When setting up your Outlook, you will want to leave the SPA setting unchecked. Thanks! Scott M |

Webhostinghub created the problem with my working outlook email account. They told me that I had some unknown setting wrong and told me to follow this post. This post is about how to setup an email account - not troubleshoot and fix a problem that they have created. No help here. Just another waste of my time............

Hello David,
I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with Outlook. In general, if there is a problem with Outlook, it's usually fairly well publicized and we would be getting a FLOOD of support traffic as many of our customers use Outlook. However, there are no trends indicating a widespread problem. We would not only see an increase in support traffic, but also multiple posts on the issue. This does not mean that there is not an issue, but it does suggest that there is no problem created by the Web Hosting Hub servers. I did review your account, and the support notes provided. However, there is no mention of the version of Outlook, or the exact problem other than it says that "all security methods not accepted by the client". The client mentioned in the error is Outlook. To my knowledge, our servers have not changed, If you could please provide the version of Outlook that you're using, then I can continue investigating this issue and see if there is an existing issue. It's also mentioned that it was working before. Are you getting any specific error messages than what I have listed here? And what steps are you taking to duplicate the error? Please provide some further information and I will further pursue the problem to see if we can get it resolved as soon as possible. Kindest regards, Arnel C. |
