Zend Framework is an open source library and framework designed to increase productivity when building PHP applications. The focus of Zend Framework is to provide the functionality that is most commonly needed for PHP applications while allowing customization for specific user's needs.
By default, Zend Framework is not installed on Web Hosting Hub accounts, but can easily be installed and used on our servers. For step-by-step instructions, please see our article on installing Zend Framework.
While at first glance, you may think this means that Zend Framework is installed, it's actually not referring to the Zend Framework. Zend Engine is an optimized execution engine that allows PHP's functionality to be extended. Zend Optimizer enables programmers to run PHP files encoded with Zend Guard.
