Hi, I've recently acquired a .cat domain I wish to use for one of my sites. It's registered with another company, and I assume this type of domain can't be transferred to Web Hosting Hub. But would it be possible to use the address for one of my websites hosted on your server? Maybe as an add-on domain or something? The truth is I'm completely new to this sort of thing, so any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi ChrisR,

Yes, you are correct. You cannot transfer a .cat domain to us, but you can host the domain with us. This article here describes addon vs. parked domains, but I assume you'll be adding the domain as an addon domain.

In summary, you'll need to add the domain as an addon in your cPanel, point the domain to our nameservers, and just wait up to 24 hours for propagation.

I hope this helps! Thanks,
- Brad
