With Fantastico in your cPanel, you are limited to installing Soholaunch on only one domain.  You can install a second domain manually however, and we will be happy to walk you through the process to get it set up properly.

How do I manually install Soholaunch onto my account?

1. Create a database

  1. Log in to your account cPanel
  2. Click on "MySQL Databases" and create a new database
  3. Below that, create a new user or use an existing user
  4. Add the user to the new database, giving them "All" privileges

2. Download the Soholaunch Installation File

Go to http://info.soholaunch.com/index.php?pr=Download_Now and download the Soho installer to your desktop.  One it is installed, unzip the folder and it should have two files.

3. Upload Soholaunch files into your addon Domain's folder via FTP

Next you will upload the two files in the zipped folder onto your account in the folder in which you want install the program.  If you need instructions on how to access your site via FTP, please refer to our FTP: Getting Started Guide.

4. Run the installation file

Once you have uploaded the files, you can install the application by visiting the following address in your browser:

http://youraddondomain.com/installsoholaunch.php (replacing youraddondomain.com with the name of your Addon Domain)

Follow the instructions on-screen until you reach the administrative setup, which is where you will set the admin username and password to log in to Soho. For the database setup, use the database name, username, and password that you set up in Step 1.

If you are getting a php error message when installing the program, try copying the php.ini file from your primary domain into your addon domain folder, and then edit the file to make sure that "allow_url_include" is set to On.

5. Log in.

You can access your Soho admin login page at http://youraddondomain.com/sohoadmin/index.php.
