Dear all, I have been setting up my company website with boldgrid hosted by webhosting hub and am stuck now with some key issues

Unlike described in Boldgrid tutorials, there is no Appearance tab in the left menu bar in the WP/Boldgrid dashboard to change colors of menus or widgets.

Call to action widget in the header banner in the Wedge template switches to a semitransparent background on smaller screens and I find no way to remove it. Can also not change the color scheme of the mobile hamburger menu.

In addition: any solution to change font size/line breaks and picture format for mobile version only?

This is really starting to drive me crazy as there seems to be no support for this...

Very much appreciate your feedback.

Kind Regards

Hello Beat,

I'm sorry to see you are experiencing issues while using BoldGrid.

The Appearance option in the WordPress Dashboard is removed in the BoldGrid Settings. You can always disable this setting and then it will be displayed again. Check out the BoldGrid Support article titled: “How to Restore the WordPress Admin Menu” for more information.

In order to customize the Call to Action beyond the capabilities provided with BoldGrid, you would need to manually add your custom coded solution to the CSS via the CSS/HTML Editor.

The color palette can be modified, however there is no functionality in BoldGrid that allows you to assign colors to a specific object that is only visible on mobile devices.

I'm sorry to see that BoldGrid is not meeting your expectations in regards to the customizations you would like to make. I recommend submitting your feedback to the developers directly via the BoldGrid Feature Request portal.

Best Regards,
Carlos D.
