Setting the way quantity discounts are calculated in Prestashop 1.5
Quantity discounts are an important function of your website that allows your customers to buy in bulk and receive a discount. The way in which the discounts are determined can vary. The following tutorial will walk you though setting up how quantity discounts are calculated in Prestahop 1.5.
How quantity discounts are calculated in Prestashop 1.5
- Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
- Hover over the menu bar where it says PREFERENCES, and then click on PRODUCTS in the drop down menu. Scroll down the list of options and look for Preferences: Products. Select Quantity discounts based on in the menu shown below:
- Quantity discounts are based on either PRODUCTS or COMBINATIONS OF PRODUCTS. Select one of the radial buttons to set how your discounts are calculated.
- Select the green SAVE button in the top right corner in order to save the choice you selected.
The quantity discounts that Prestashop 1.5 allows can be determined by either products or by combinations of products. Decide on the best fit for your customers before setting the option in the Administration Panel.
