Offering Recycled packaging option for Orders in Prestashop 1.5
Prestashop 1.5 also has an option to show that packaging is being done with recycled material. The following tutorial will guide you in setting the option to allow customers to select recycled packaging for their ordered products.
How to Enable the Recycled Packaging Option for Orders in Prestashop 1.5
- Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
- Hover over the menu bar where it says PREFERENCES, and then click on ORDERS in the drop down menu. Scroll down the list of options and look for GIFT OPTIONS. In GIFT OPTIONS, select OFFER RECYCLED PACKAGING as shown below:
- Select YES to enable the option or NO to disable it. Note that this will simply ofter an option to select the use of recycled packaging for the order. If the customer selects it you will see it as an entry on the order specifying the use of recycled packaging.
- Select the SAVE button underneath the option or select SAVE in the top right corner of the screen to save your selection.
Offering the option of recycled material for your packaging helps to portray your shop in a positive, green, eco-friendly light. It's another added bonus to help keep your customers ordering from your shop.
