It is often required to set fees or costs on the carriers that you are using to ship products to your customers.  These costs can vary based on the carrier itself, the area or geographical zone that they must cover for deliver, and also the range of weight for the products that they are delivering.  The following tutorial shows how to set the overall fee for each carrier that you have created in Prestahop 1.5.

Determining the Fees for Each Carrier used to Ship Products in Prestashop 1.5

  1. Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
  2. Hover over the menu bar where it says SHIPPING, and then click on SHIPPING in the drop down menu.  Scroll down until you see the entry that says:  FEES BY CARRIER, GEOGRAPHICAL ZONE AND RANGES.  If a carrier is selected, you will see the following

  3. Select the blank that you wish to fill, and then type in the cost for that specific shipping carrier.  Note that you can set an overall fee for the carrier, or designate by geographical zone.  Additionally, there is no specific Zone/Range setting - just 0 lb to 10000 lb.  You can create multiple shipping carriers in the CARRIER section.
  4. Once you have added the appropriate fee, select SAVE in order to save your changes.

Overall shipping fees can be determined in this portion of the Administration Panel.  Fees can be set by geographical zone, carrier, and range.  If you wish to create a new carrier, please visit How to Add New Shipping Carriers.
