Attributes on a product can show the depth of the products or types of products that you provide.  They can also show the variety of options that your shop provides for the products that you are selling.  However, when products are out of stock or unavailable, these options can be hidden. The following Prestashop 1.5 tutorial will show you how to enable the option to display product attributes though the product may be out of stock or unavailable.

Display Unavailable Product Attributes in Prestashop 1.5

  1. Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
  2. Hover over the menu bar where it says PREFERENCES, and then click on PRODUCTS in the drop down menu. Scroll down the list of options and look for Preferences: Product page.  Select the Display unavailable product attributes on product page option in the menu as shown below:

  3. Select YES to enable display of product attributes even it is unavailable, or select NO to not show the attributes if the product is unavailable
  4. Select the green SAVE button in the top right hand corner of the screen to save your selection
