In WordPress, pages allow you to manage static content that will be viewed on your site. This differs from posts because they are meant to be their own standalone pages that are not displayed anywhere else. In this article, we will show you how to edit the content of an existing page within your WordPress admin dashboard. Note: If you need information on creating a page, simply view our article on creating WordPress pages.
On the left side navigation bar, click on Pages.
You should now see a list of existing pages on your WordPress site. To edit one of them, simply click on the name of that page.
You should now see the page edit screen with your content inside the large content editor box, also known as TinyMCE. To edit the content of the page, simply locate the content that you would like to change within this box, and make your changes as you would any other rich text editor.
Once you are finished making your desired change, click on the button to the right labeled Update. Your changes are now saved and visible within the page.
