When sending email, setting a SPF Record and Domain Keys is a great way to help protect your email from spoofing and spam.  Both are available to be enabled on your account for no additional charge in your account cPanel.

Important! If you're using cPanel to setup SPF or DKIM records, it will show the following error when setting up your DKIM and SPF records.

(Warning: cPanel is unable to verify that this server is
an authoritative nameserver for example.com [?])

This is a known bug within cPanel and can be disregarded. cPanel checks the local server for DNS in cPanel causing this error.

About DomainKeys:

DomainKeys is an email authentication system that checks all incoming mail to make sure that it has not been changed. This is done to confirm that the email message is coming from the sender and increases the ability to track spam.  For more information about DomainKeys and how to enable them on your account, please visit our DomainKeys article.

About SPF Records:

SPF will specify which servers are authorized to send email from your domain. This means that only mail sent through your server with Web Hosting Hub will be able to be sent from your email address.  For more information about SPF Records and how to implement them, please visit our SPF Records article.

Please keep in mind that as these are DNS settings. Due to DNS propagation, they may take up to 24 hours or more before they begin to take effect.
