Begin by logging into Horde.
Click the "Mail" icon at the top of the screen.
Next, click on the "Folders" icon at the top of screen.
Select the box next to "Inbox" and from the Choose Action drop down, select "Empty."
You will receive a notification that you are deleting all messages in the Inbox. To confirm, click the Empty Selected Folders button.
The process can take several minutes, and depends on how many messages are in the Inbox.

It would nice if the tutorial also explained how to clean up old email messages, but leave the most current messages. Either an explination of how to use shift and select to only select a portion of the inbox, or to create a tool that would 'delete all messages older than' a specified date. I was able to do this with 'shift and select' as luckily Horde displayed all my 13,300 message in one long list which allowed for this function to work. Thank you. |
