OpenCart 1.5 conveniently provides the ability to backup or restore database files within its interface. The following tutorial will guide you in using these options.
How to Backup or Restore your OpenCart 1.5 database files
The Backup and Restore feature built into the OpenCart 1.5 is a great feature, but I recommend making use of full site-backups if it all possible.

Hi! When I tried to import and restore a backup all I got was an error mesage that it couldn t find one of the tables. The table however was there along with all of its data and I could see it when I opened the sql file. I could also see that the table exists on my host database and I can t figure out what s wrong. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance |

This may be an issue within the OpenCart extension. Try importing your SQL file using PHPMyAdmin.
