One of the many methods available for payments in a PrestaShop store is accepting payments made by check. It's up to you as a store owner to decide if this is a payment method you wish to use. While checks are not nearly as popular today as online payment methods, some PrestaShop website owners may wish to allow customers the option to pay by check. Fortunately, this is a module that is installed by default if you opted for the full installation during the PrestaShop install process. All you will need to do is configure some settings for the Check payment module.
Once you have enabled this payment module, when customers choose this payment method, the order status will be set to Waiting for payment until you manually confirm the order. In our next tutorial, we walk you through the steps for managing these pending sales in your PrestaShop store.

Can you explain me please what "Payment by check" exactly means? What is the difference between payment by check and the bankwire payment? |

The difference is that a payment by check would be mailing a physical check while a wire transfer would be the transfer of money electronically.
