  3. You are met with the profile creation page. In order to save your profile, only the first two tabs need be completed. The other tabs contain various other settings and options which may be covered in later articles. The first page is all the basic information:
Profile NameName your profile. You can name it anything you like (Ex: Fred, or profile-1, or admin.) In our example, we stayed with the basic 'admin'.
Domain NameEnter the domain name for which you are creating the profile.
EquivalentThis field is not required, but if you have any other domain names that point to the same site, enter them here. (ex: www.example.com, example2.com, www.example2.com)
Profile StatusThis is set to Deactivated by default but will need to be set to Activated to be used.
Default FileEnter the default file name here. For most sites this will usually be either index.html or index.php.
  4. Click on the Next button to continue to the next tab.
  5. On the Data Collection tab you will need to dictate the way you want to collect your stats. The most common is to set the Log File Analysis. That option will allow you to set the log file path.

Now that you have finished the basic profile, you are ready to use Logaholic. The profile will now appear on the Profile List page when you initially log into Logaholic.
