My apologies, I initially put in the wrong reply for you issue. I have been looking at your site files, but based on what you have said, I'm not sure which site you're referring to since you have several different installations there. I see a wordpress installation and another website installation. Can you specify which installation is having the problem? I don't see an issue when I go to your temp url . Definitely clear all of your .htaccess files for now. Currently, when I go to your website, I'm not seeing any evidence of a hack. The CGI-BIN is a default folder - so it sould be there.

Please reply to this with further information on your website and we can take a closer look at what's happening.

Dear support team,

I am a new customer and try to login into my cPanel. It is not very intuitive, but I understood I need to reset my apparently randomly assigned password. I did and despite this, I still get the Login Attempt Failed! I thought it might have been a typo, so I have reset the password again, and no matter how I try, I still cennot login.

Why is this?

I am able to get into your cpanel (although with our admin password) so the cpanel itself is functional.

It may be that the cpanel password reset did not work as it should. We can set reset the password for you. To do so, you would need to contact our support department at support@webhostinghub.com with that request. Be sure to validate your account with either the last 4 digits of the credit card on file, or the current Account Management Panel (AMP) password.re if you like. Be sure to specify whether you want a particular password or a randomly generated one.

The Flash video tutorials on our website don't have sound so it's not just your computer, most of the videos just walk through step by step where you need to click in the cPanel interface to accomplish certain tasks.

Was there a particular thing you were trying to do that you've been unable to find help for? You can utilize the Search box filled in with How may we help? to locate documentation for most web hosting related topics. You can also use the menu navigation at the top of our support center. For instance you can hover over Website above, then click on WordPress to review our collection of WordPress documentation.

I see looking at your account files that you've already managed to install WordPress and have it up and running on your website. If you needed to login to access your WordPress dashboard where you make your posts and pages this can be done by placing /wp-admin at the end of the URL following your domain name. Then you would need to enter in your WordPress admin user's credentials to gain access.

First, your wordpress installed located on http://www.mno3.com was sending out spam via /home/mno3/public_html/wp-content/uploads. For that we have suspended both web and out going mail to stop the abuse. To fix this issue you should re-upload the affected wordpress files.

The inode count issue would need to be fixed by the host- you can not edit this number unless you have root access to the server. In terms of the spam issue, it's very possible that your WordPress site might be compromised. This could happen if you have out of date versions of WordPress or plugins running on our your site. I was just curious if you allow the use of dropshipping through your site? Thank you for your question. Yes, you can do dropshipping through your website hosted with us. We have many options for designing a shopping cart system, such as PrestaShop, OpenCart, ZenCart, and OsCommerce. You can even use Wordpress with an e-commerce plugin, or Joomla with the VirtueMart addon.

These are all included for free within Softaculous, along with many other software options.

I am not completely familiar with the term EDI, but I believe you are asking about the payment gateway. For this case, you can use paypal, or authorize.net, for example; but it will depend which software you use to design your site. Most e-commerce software options are compatible with the major payment gateways.

Typically, you need to remove the index file that you setup for the construction page. The first page that is typically accessed by the web server is the index page. Check out this article on setting up Under Construction pages. This identifies the index files for you. You can then use the cPanel file manager in order to rename or delete the file. Your normal site will normally have it's own index file - you will need to make sure that file remains on your site.

If you're still seeing "website under construction" there are several possibilities:


  • The domain was recently registered and still undergoing propagation.

  • You did not select the domain name during the installation of WordPress

  • You're using a different URL than the one that you set during the installation of WordPress



Double-check your WordPress installation URL. If you specified a folder during the installation, then it will affect the URL that you are using to access the site. We do have articles on how to change the WordPress URL or Move a WordPress installation to a different folder.

Now that you have added the new addon domain, it will now show up in Softaculous for your to install WordPress on. Simply go into Softaculous and during the installation steps for WordPress, you will see a dropdown that will list any domains that you have configured.

Per the notes on the account, however, your account is unconfirmed, so the issue was forwarded to the sales team who would void the transaction. This is confirmed in your account. These type of transactions do need to be handled through the Sales or Billing teams as they are typically private issues - posts on this website are public. Thanks for the question. In reviewing your website, it appears you're using WordPress. One of the nice things about WordPress is that when you want to add something (like FB or Pinterest), it's usually as simple as finding a plugin. There are MANY different plugins for both Facebook and Pinterest, so you're going to have to make a decision. Read through the descriptions and select the one that best meets your needs. You can load plugins by simply logging into your WordPress Admin and then going to the Plugins section to add a new one. Here are the search results that I found by looking at the wordpress.org site:

Web design may be simple, but it is definitely not easy, especially when you want to sell thngs (even 1 thing) online. It may seem like overkill, but you will likely do best by setting up an e-commerce site by using a tool like PrestaShop.

A much simpler site can be set up if you know how to code, but if you do not, then the e-commerce is the fastest and cheapest way to go.

I wanted to start a new blog and tried to register under the name subodhvarma.org. The name was approved by your site but when I tried to fill the address field, your site objected to the name of my city that is Ghaziabad and the name of my state that is UP (Uttar Pradesh) and called it invalid. The country name is India. I then contacted your site through "start a chat" and was contacted by Patrick O. He assured me that he would help me and took my address etc. He then asked me to give the details of my VISA debit card that I did. The site hosting was supposed to cost me $57.87 for which I agreed. He assured me that the blog site would be operative within 24 hours. However, nothing has happened so far. Not even the amount is transferred from my bank account. Kindly help.

In regards to websites, it does appear that you're simply trying to find a software that lets you build a website from scratch. We don't support only ONE type of software to build a site from scratch. If you want a guide that takes you through building a simple website, then try the the Builder guide. If this solution is too simple and not a good fit, then you may want to look at one of the most widely used softwares for building websites on the internet: Wordpress.

Hi, just got this from you: We have been tracking high resource usage coming from your account with us and wanted to reach out to you before it becomes a problem affecting other customers.   Resource usage when taken to an extreme can sometimes lead to a suspension of the account depending on the severity of the issue, and this is something we deeply want to avoid.

I'm a wordpress newbie and have been using the Avada theme. All their demo content is still in my site but I'm the only one using the site while I update it with my own material. Could this have been the problem? Please advise. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide exact details to your account over this public forum, but I can try to help the best I can.

Are you running any additional plugins outside of the theme? You may want to take a look at those to see if they may be impacting you.

While the theme is fairly well built, it can be quite heavy on resources if you have a large amount of content loading in it. It could potentially be the large amount of sample data being loaded on the site.

Using a caching plugin such as W3 Total Cache can sometimes make a large difference in the performance of your site in which I highly recommend using one to keep your resource usage down.

If you have not yet done so, and would like exact details as to what may be causing the high resource usage on your account, I recommend responding to the email you received for more exact information on your resource usage.

In the future, you may also use the resource usage tool within cPanel to better understand your particular usage as well.

We do have a 30 day refund policy, so you can simply contact our Live Billing department for that. However, domain names only have a 120 hour refund policy due to our registrar partner, so be sure to contact them soon if you also wish to get that refunded.

One thing, however. You are not limited to a blog for your site. You can create any type of site you want and can use one of almost 300 tools from the Softaculous suite. This includes WordPress, which can be used for much more than a blog, and Joomla, Drupal, and many others.

I recommend checking that the account was created successfully in WHM.

Also make sure your DNS is pointed to your host correctly. Here is a link to our guide on pointing to WebHosting Hub. But, keep in mind if you are not hosted with us the settings will differ.

I am very new to this!  I purchased my site and believe I chose the auto install for wordpress....how do I start enter into word press?   I tried the down load and it listed a bunch of domains that already existed

You should receive a confirmation contact, usually by phone, within 30 minutes of signing up. If they cannot reach you by phone, an email is typically sent. Be sure to check your spam folder just in case it gets sent there.

If you cannot find that, feel free to reach out to them as they may have several confirmations in the queue and by contacting them they will be able to go ahead and get you set up.

My website comments are being overrun with spam comments. It seems I spend more and more time each day just clicking on spam comments. Is there an easy solution to filter out that junk?

Spam is typically an email issue, but it can also leak over into blogs other website types through the comment spaces that you allow. Depending on the software that you used to build your website, there might be a plugin/extension/module that you can add to help take care of the issue. You may also want to consider implementing a recaptcha system in your webpage.

People at webhostinghub. I need your help.

I have the domain www.academiahn.net and I need to install Moodle 2.7 but, when I install such software I get the error "Moodle 2.7 or later requires at least PHP 5.4.4 (currently using version 5.3.29). Please upgrade your server software or install older Moodle version."

What can I do?

I created an ftp account using cpanel but when I try to log in using Filezilla it fails on password authentication. I have double checked the user name (rnwebber) and password. Please help. I would like to upload some files.

I would take the error message at face value. If it says it is an authentication error, then that is probably what it is. Be sure that the host name is correct as well. I was able to create a test FTP account on your hosting account and log in without issues. If you continue to have an error logging in, please contact Live Support so they can test with the specific account using the exact credentials that you will need to provide them.
