Once you have added products to your site, you may want to test your store to make sure your customers will have a smooth experience when purchasing products from your online store. While PayPal offers a sandbox service for testing, it's not always easy to set up and can be time consuming.

The easiest way to test your store is to either change the price of one of your products to something low (like 1 cent) or add a test product with a low price.

If you're testing the selling of physical products that will include shipping, you'll also want to either edit one of your shipping options or add a test shipping option and set it to a low amount as well.

Once you've either edited or added the test product and shipping, you can then go through your online shop and order that particular product. Once you reach PayPal you'll want to select the "Don't have a PayPal account?" option so that you can pay with a debit or credit card. PayPal will not allow you to use the same PayPal account for purchasing that you have set up as your PayPal seller account in your store.

If your product is a downloadable product when you return from PayPal you will be returned to a page that contains a link to download the file. You should also receive this link via email.
