Most commonly triggered spam words
There are manywords or phrases that will trigger spam filters on email servers. The ones listed below, if used, will cause your email to be given more spam 'points' by the evaluating software and may cause it to be classified as spam. Typically, using the phrase once in an email is safe, but repeating a phrase or using more than a couple of them can cause an issue.

The hosts file change is typically used to FORCE your computer to look at a different location. If the domain has already changed its name servers to the correct host, then you can remove the HOST settings. Hello there, Since yesterday I have tried to reply an email from our business partner serveral times.Unfortunately it was possible and there is the message below:"Message not sent.Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable Server replied: 550 This message was classified as SPAM and may not be delivered." Even some words in my answer such as "unlimited" were omitted according your recommedation in lowering spam rating,but the problem remained unsolved.Please kindly help me in this issue. Hi Medhi Shiri, at this point it would be best to contact Support so we can review the exact error message to determine what is causing the spam classification.

I had an issue with this and it was the words "Gluten Free" being submitted in a form when asking registrants for a camp if they have any allergies or medical issues. Took out those words and the emails sent fine. It was driving me crazy trying to figure it out, too! had to go through a process of elimination to get to that. |

It would be helpful if you would give users a report on what the filter was acting on.. going through a 1000 word email comparing it to a 200 word "spam word list" and finding the problem is probably an unrealistic expection. Also how often do you update the filter algorythem ? Is the spam word list maintained at the same time?? James |

The list is maintained by a 3rd party platform, Spam Assassin so we don't even fully know every word that is getting blocked as spam. Best Regards, TJ Edens |

I need a way to check a button that says this not spam and it is allowed to go thru. I have many emails that have a long chain of conversation that is valuable to the recipient and I should not have to delete them to send the email.

You can request to have your email domain whitelisted so that it's not filtered for outgoing email. This is done by contacting our live technical support team (contact information at the bottom of the page). Additionally, you can whitelist individual emails in Spam Assassin (in the cPanel) so that they are not affected by the spam ratings assigned by Spam Assassin. Sorry for the problem with the PDF attachment. If you're able to change it to a different name then you should be able to send the email. If you continue to be blocked, please submit a technical support ticket (through the Account Management Panel (AMP)) and provide an example of that's happening. They will need to look at the content of the email and whitelist you if there are no SPAM messages being sent from your account. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
