Once you have installed a theme either from the Dashboard or from a website online, you can change your WordPress theme at any time. If you have not yet installed a new theme, please first read our guides on installing a theme from your Dashboard or installing a theme found Online.
To change the theme, first log into your WordPress Dashboard. Once you have logged in, select the "Appearance" option on the left menu:
After clicking on "Appearance" the "Manage Themes" tab will automatically display:
From here, you can change your current theme to any other theme you have already installed. To change the theme, click on the "Activate" link under the "Available Themes" section as shown in the picture above.
Selecting a new theme will not affect your content such as your blog posts and pages. Changing your website theme can, however, affect your widgets and plugins. Not all themes are compatible with all the different widgets and themes currently available. After changing your theme, visit your website in a web browser to make sure that everything is still working properly. If it is not, you may want to change back to your old theme or disable any plugins/widgets that are not supported.
To see a summary of the courses in the class, please click on 103: Install a New Theme.

Apologies for the problem with the WordPress issue. This article is very old and will need to updated. The Web Hosting Hub Help Center is currently undergoing evaluation for needed updates. For now, please reference the WordPress Codex on changing themes.
