If you had your web site previously hosted with a different hosting company, to use the same web pages you will need to migrate your site to our servers. The easiest way to do that is by downloading your files via FTP, and then re-uploading them onto your hosting with Web Hosting Hub. If your previous host also uses cPanel, please see our guide for migrating your site using a cPanel backup.
If you have any questions we will be happy to help, we can be easily reached at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
If your email was set up to connect to your previous host using POP3, your emails would be downloaded to your local computer and moving emails from the previous server shouldn't be needed. However, if you used an IMAP connection to check emails, you will want to follow the steps in our Transferringold Host education channel article to move emails over from your previous host.
If you use a third party filtering service for email, please see our article on setting up your MX records for using a third party filtering service for step by step instructions to properly set up your MX records. It's best to set up those MX records before pointing your domain to our Nameservers.

Hi My existing web site uses MySQL, and I have access to the database files, but not to phpMyAdmin. Can I put load the files directly, or must I create a local instance of MySQL/phpMyAdmin so that I can create the necessary file? Bob |

Hello Bob,
Are you not able to access phpMyAdmin in the cPanel from your end? I am able to access it as your cPanel user. If you are getting any errors, please reply with the entire error message so we can assist you in continuing to migrate your site. Kindest Regards, Scott M |

Hi, My previous registrar of my domain reginalaw.com.sg will be releasing it by 30 June 2017. I am tasked with transferring my email and web hosting accounts to my new domain before this date after which my domain is no longer available for my use. However, I get the message from web hosting hub that I can only do a domain transfer after 23 July 2017, i.e. 60 days from date of purchase. Does it mean that I will have no email and website access using my domain name in the interim? Please clarify. Thank you |

The domain transfer of ownership does not affect mail. If the domain is pointed to the correct servers, and the domain is registered, you will not lose service. This means a domain can change ownership without affecting the site or emails. The only thing that would cause any difficulties would be if a domain registration expired.
