Blacklisting a domain means that you would blocking any emails coming from that domain. Spam Experts lets you do this very easily by simply creating a rule. Follow the directions below to learn how to make a rule that blacklists a domain.

Blacklisting a Domain in Spam Experts

  1. Login to Spam Experts in cPanel Log into your SpamExperts account dashboard.
  2. click on Blacklist filtering rules

Click on Blacklist Filtering Rules under Incoming - Protection Settings.

  3. Click + Add Rule

At the top of the page, select + Add rule.

  4. Name the rule

Type in a Rule name. Make sure the name is something you'll remember for the rule that you're creating.

  5. Select the match rule

Tap on the drop-down menu under Match. This is the field that you'll be matching in the email. Since you're blacklisting email from a domain sending you email, this is normally going to be the From field.

  6. Select the conditional

The second part of the rule is the conditional. Typically, the selection here is Contains. If you're not sure of the actual name, you might want to use "starts with" or "ends with".

  7. type in the domain name or partial text you're trying to match

The last field is the actual text you're trying to match. If you know the whole domain name, then you would type in the domain name.

  8. Click on SAVE

    Click on Save.
