What do you offer as an alternative to mailman? And by an alternative, I mean something that offers a discussion option, not just a one-way newsletter.

I was told this functionality was available when I chose to move my domains to WHH, but you tech support has not been able to offer me any alternatives beyond, "We don't support mailman. Sorry." I don't want to have to ask for a full refund and move my domains again, but this is crucial. Thanks.

Hello Jeff,

While there are several mailing list programs that can be installed using Softaculous, such as poMMo, WEBinsta Maillist , OpenNewsletter, and CcMail; the most popular is probably PHPlist.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

You may want to also suggest dadamail, a more robust, better control granularity alternative to phplist

Will Webhosting Hub ever support the Web Deploy service?

As someone who is currently using Microsoft Web Matrix to build local Wordpress sites, it would make developing and deploying websites much easier.

Hello M. Wright,

Unfortunately since Web Deploy is built to work with IIS servers and we do not have any, we do not see any implementation of it in our future.

Kindest Regards,

This list needs an update. For instance, you now have PostgreSQL.

Hello John,

Thanks for pointing it out! I did remove the SSH and PostgreSQL from the list. This list will be updated as the hosting service is updated. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Arnel C.

can we use perforce helix?

This would enable our board to do revisioning on documents/spreadhseets used by our board members without needing an external 3rd party tool like dropbox or google docs (also to invasive)

Corey, unfortunately Perforce is not very clear about what their requirements are. However, you could upload it to your account with us, and give it a try.

When I get a bit of free time to try it out on the account, I'll let you know if it is viable to use
