You may often find the need to sell one or more products together. This is accomplished in Prestashop 1.5 using the PACK option in Products. The following tutorial will show you the steps involved in creating and managing a product sold as a "pack."
Once you have set all of the required changes you can see how the bundled product will appear in your storefront. Here's an example of the headphones and iPod packed together:
Using the PACK option in Prestashop 1.5 allows you to easily add one or more products in a bundle that you can provide to your customers. For further information on managing your PRODUCTS within the Prestashop, go to Managing Products within Prestashop 1.5.

What about variants? How do I create a pack with a variant from item A, a variant from item B and a variant from item C with a set price for purchasing them together in said pack? |

Hello TracyS,
Thank you for your question. I could not find any "built-in" way to do this in PrestaShop. An alternate option may be to create separate products for:

The problem with creating separate items for these will be that PrestaShop is hooked into our in-house software and inventory would not be accurately reflected between the two since they aren't inventoried separately. A package is pulled off the shipping shelf as it's individual components which are the inventoried items. We aren't keeping packages as their own inventory. Do you know a programmer that could develop this functionality? |

Hello TracyS,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, our web design team can only assist with websites that they have created. The Official PrestaShop Forums is a good place to seek help, since it is frequented by PrestaShop developers. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, -John-Paul |

I have the same question. The product I have needs to be in a Pack with varient item A, varient item B, and varient item C. I was able to get PrestaShop to allow the selection for each varient, but the inventory side of things doesn't work out. If you know of any other ways to do this, that would be great. Also, my partner is very good at programming. What's the easiest approach to customizing inventory since PrestaShop doesn't do what we are looking for? Thanks, -David |

Hello David,
As JonhPaul had mentioned above you might want to checkout the PrestaShop forums and ask your question there to have it answered by a PrestaShop developer. If your partner is good at programming the best place to start looking would be the PrestaShop Developer guide for possible references of inventory management. Please let us know if you had any further questions at all. - Jacob |

I use Prestashop 1.6 and I have tried to realize a pack of two product. Following the procedure I obtain the pack, but the image is an empty image with a question mark. In the backoffice, the images of the two products in the pack are not seen and it is required to upload images. It is required to upload the images of the single products? |

Hello Giuliano,
Thanks for the question about Product Packs. Yes, when you create a product pack, it is in essence a "new product" , so it requires that you upload a new image. This is because some product packs have different images. The current PrestaShop 1.6 documentation does not mention product pack images, but it is the same as when you add a new product. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know. Regards, Arnel C. |
