You can purchase your own dedicated IP address for $48 per year.  By default, your account will share an IP address with other users on your server.  When a dedicated IP address is purchased, it allows you to have your own IP address.  This IP address will not be shared with any other account.  Since only one cPanel account is available, you can not have more then one IP address. You can order a dedicated IP address in your Account Management Panel (or AMP).  For help logging into AMP, please read our article on accessing your Account Management Panel.

How do I order an additional IP address?

  1. Log into AMP
  2. Within the list of icons under your hosting account, find and click on the Purchase Dedicated IP icon.
  3. Review the information on the page, which talks about legitimate need, and then click Proceed.
  4. The next screen will confirm your billing information.  You can use the credit card we have on file or enter a new credit card.  Once you are done, click Submit.

After the dedicated IP is added, you will receive an email with the IP address.  Please note that it can take up to 24 hours before the new IP is fully activated.  While the new IP is set-up, your website will stay on your original shared IP.  Once your dedicated IP is ready, the site transfer to the new IP will take place automatically.  This way your website won't go down and your service will be uninterrupted.
