If you still need to cancel your hosting account, we understand. To cancel your account, please follow the steps below:
In the menu at the top of the screen, click on Billing, the click on My Subscriptions.
On the My Subscriptions page, please click on the X that corresponds with the subscription you wish to cancel. You will be able to cancel domain registrations, hosting accounts, and other services.
After you have selected the subscription to cancel, you will see a form that needs to be filled out before you cancellation request is submitted. When you have completed the form, click on the Submit button at the bottom to process your cancellation request. You can also click on the Reset button to void your cancellation request.
After you have submitted your cancellation request, you will see a confirmation screen verifying your selection. There will be details on when the cancellation takes effect. There will also be a link to the Billing team if you wish to change the status back to Active.
Remember that cancellations are not always immediate, because you might have some time left in the subscription. For example, you may have selected an account to cancel that has several weeks before it expires. Since you have marked it for cancellation, you will not be billed again unless you contact the billing department to begin a new subscription.
If you would like to cancel something immediately we recommend contacting our Customer Service department, they are available from 9AM - 9PM ET, Monday - Friday. They are available via Chat, phone (+1-757-416-6627), and ticket.

I am trying to cancel my acct which I recently opened. There are no operators available to chat per my request (as usual). I will not be able to call or chat during normal business hours, so how can I cancel the account? I should qualify for a refund as it is has been less than 90 days since opening the account. Would it be possible to call my home phone & verify through my wife? |
