PHP Extensions are used to extend the base library of PHP to accomplish a particular programmatic goal. The Cpanel now includes a graphic interface where you can install PHP extensions directly from the PHP Extensions and Applications Repository (also called PEAR). There is also a library of extensions called the PHP Extension Community Library (PECL). Each extension from this library that needs to be installed will require that a service ticket be submitted before the installation can occur ( support@webhostinghub.com ). The following article explains how to use the interface in Cpanel to find and install PHP extensions using the PEAR library.
