The Stock Movement report is best used to quickly review movement of your products between your warehouses and shops.  Each stock movement type (add, remove, transfer) is noted with the PrestaShop interface. This information also identifies where inventory needs may need to be changed.  The following tutorial explains how to use the stock movement report in PrestaShop 1.5.

 

 Understanding the Stock Movement Report in PrestaShop 1.5

  1. Login to the Administrator Dashboard as an Administrator
  2. Hover over the menu bar where it says STOCK. Click on STOCK MOVEMENT and you will see a screen similar to the following:

    The screenshot above shows the table with a single stock movement.  You can filter the results with the Warehouse drop-down menu at the top left and you can also elect to display a specific number of results on the page. Use the drop-down option to change the number of results.

    The following table describes the column values:

    Reference internal reference information for product
    EAN 13 international article number
    UPC universal product code
    Name Name of the product
    Warehouse Name of the warehouse where product is stored
    Sign Indicates if there was an increase or decrease in the inventory
    Quantity Physical quantity
    Price(tax excl.) price of product
    Label type of stock movement description
    Employee Employee
    Date Date of the movement



    1. Note the empty fields under each column header.  Click in each field in order to sort results by the corresponding column header.

 

The Stock Movement report is a quick and simple report that can be used to identify stock movement within your inventory.  Use this information to carefully monitor your products.  This will help prevent supply shortages by identifying the shops where you may have shortages inventory.  Use this tool to help keep your inventory in check and you will quickly see the results in your bottom line.
