The Cpanel updates have been completed for all servers in Web Hosting Hub.  If you have any further technical issues with your hosting service, please contact Technical Support for immediate assistance.  Thank you for you patience while we work to make your hosting experience more secure and dependable.

[December 4, 2012]

We sincerely apologize for any apparent affects to our service, but the System Administration team is currently applying an urgent security update for cPanel administration software on all servers today.  The application of these updates may result in temporary spikes in server usage and at worst, temporary unavailability of services.

The maker of the server software, cPanel, released the security updates after their internal developers discovered possible security issues within the software.  They state the application of the security updates are of high importance, but have also indicated that the discovered vulnerabilities (patched by the security update) are still unknown to the public at this time.

Web Hosting Hub considers customer security as paramount, and have therefore made the application of these updates an immediate priority. cPanel will be releasing further information on the security issue as of December 6, 2012.

For further information on this issue direct from cPanel, please go to CPANEL SECURITY RELEASE 11.32
