Update of cPanel x3 theme to Paper Lantern

Issue: cPanel's mandatory upgrade from x3 to Paper Lantern
Status: We will begin upgrading all Web Hosting Hub servers to be completed for all hosting plans no later than June 30, 2017.
Who is impacted? All Web Hosting Hub plans.
Why is this happening? cPanel's developers are replacing the x3 theme with the Paper Lantern interface.

Note that there is no expected downtime for Web Hosting Hub servers during the update process. cPanel has indicated that the x3 theme will be removed as of cPanel version 60. Paper Lantern will be the default interface when the change is complete .

What are the advantages of Paper Lantern?

cPanel's updates for Paper Lantern include:
  • Ability to use Twitter Bootstrap 3 to create responsive themes
  • More consistent design
  • Updated search functionality
  • Improved notification system
